New Remix for Circuit Freq

I've recently been busy on a remix for the ever growing label Circuit Freq. Label head Amir Derakh, (guitarist from none other than the bands 'ORGY' and 'Julien K) also has a great eye for talent, with remix artists including Deadmouse, Paul Oakenfield, Zodiac Cartel and Will Bailey. Therefor I was honored to be asked and jumped at the chance to get on board remixing a track called Catacomb Filter, resulting in a fusion of organic techno, laced with an electro soul. The track will be released in the next few months, for more updates stay tuned.

Radio ones Speakers Bump!

I'm excited to say that my forthcoming single 'Speaker Bump' was featured on Annie Nightingale's Radio 1 show last night. The track seems to be making an early mark on some of the top djs out there, also getting air play from kiss Fm's 'the Loose Cannons' late last month.

To get a sneak preview of the track before its April release, check out the video in the center of the page for some proper oldskool peektime contemporary wonk.;)

Rektchordz Remixes The Pete Box

Many fear venturing into the field of beat boxing when it comes to producing dance music, possibly due to its highly organic nature and often hard to place sounds. However, I always like to be challenged musically and putting that little 'it doesn't work' voice to bed I agreed to get on board remixing a smashing track by one of beat boxing's leading talents The Pete Box.

Check the original of 'Vodka' here
here

The Track twisted and shaped gradually, and ended up being far from what I had in mind! The result, a hook driven tearing bassline number with vocal melodies, trumpet,Guitar and beats all from this guys mouth!

Watch this space for news on the release of this remix

Calvin Harris Re-Fix *FREE DOWNLOAD*

With Summer just around the corner, and the party atmosphere creeping out from the bitter cold, I knew it was time to bring some warmth to my live sets and got myself into the studio and put together a 're-mix' of Calvin Harris's funk fueled groover "stars come out". The result is a peek time, furious electro re working that has been filling dancefloors for me everytime and with the launch of my new site I felt it only fair to share it with all you lucky people as a free mp3.
